Space Robotics

A Space Robot (or sometimes planetary Multi-Terrain UGV) is a planetary surface exploration device designed to move across the solid surface of a planet or otherplanetary mass celestial bodies. In other words, a vehicle for driving over rough terrain, especially one driven by remote control over extraterrestrial terrain.

Space Robotics

  • Reveals physical science & technology behind multi-terrain UGV design for exploration missions.
  • Provides practical exposure through software-assisted programming & multi-terrain UGV hardware assembly.
  • Covers propulsion and communication system development.
  • Enables participants to understand multi-terrain UGV technology, electronic systems, and scientific principles
  • Simulates a small-scale aerospace program, experiencing the design life cycle.
  • Includes all aspects from preliminary design review to post-mission review.
