Excited to share the incredible experience of launcing an experimental rocket during my internship. - Collaborating with an amazing team, we pushed boundaries, learned valuable lessions, and celebrated the culmination of hard work. - Grateful for the opportunity by SDNx for guiding our team to launch an expermental rocket. - Special thanks to our mentors (Shivanshu sir, Lalit sir and Sanjay Rathee sir) for providing knowledge and gain hands-on experience in aerospace innovation.

Our internship with SDNx was a great learning opportunity for us. We learned about the different parameters involved in designing and launching rockets and rovers. We used various software tools to perform calculations and simulations for optimal performance and safety. One of the tools was OpenRocket, a free and open-source rocket design and simulation software. It allowed us to design and simulate rockets of various types, including solid, liquid and hybrid-fueled rockets. Another tool was based on the simplified method of calculating the burn rate coefficient and pressure exponent of any new propellant formulation, developed by Richard Nakka. We also got to test the fuel components and observe the combustion process.
